He was born on July 10, 1938 to the late Walter and Catherine (Smith) Rickert in Dayton, OH and retired from General Motors Truck & Bus. Dale was a member of the Farmersville F&AM, York Rite Valley of Dayton, and the Beagle Club. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Norma Eilerman and his brother Dennis Rickert. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Barton) Rickert, sons Duane (Karen) Rickert, Craig (Beth) Rickert, and step son Daron (Natalie) Eckhardt, 2 daughters Sharon (Jeff) Miller, Connie (Keith) Stafford, step daughters Jill (Johnny) Ashworth, and Mindy (Scott) Callahan, his brother Gary (Eileen) Rickert, sister Alberta Parker, 23 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St., Germantown, with Pastor Todd Velte officiating. Interment immediately following at Germantown Union Cemetery.
