Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, November 18, 1999 at Dakan funeral Chapel, Caldwell, Pastor Way Fine of Memorial Park Baptist Church, Caldwell, will officiate. Private burial will be at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. Porter was born October 29, 1903, in Fremont, Iowa. He met and married Eunice Hanley in 1940 in Caldwell, Idaho. He worked as a bookkeeper for International Harvester in Pittsburgh, PA, farmed in IA and returned to Idaho in 1953 where he appraised property and sold real estate in the Boise Valley. He and his wife operated Kiddy Care Corner in Boise for ten years. Since that time, they have resided on their farm near Adrian, OR. Porter loved hunting, golf, children, family, and he had a great sense of humor. Porter is survived by his wife; two daughters, Candy(Ronney) Yost, and Judy(Jim) Kindelberger; seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; a sister, Mabel (Raymond) Wymore; a brother, Jack (Margaret) Lee; and a sister-in-law, Hazel Lee.
