Perry was born April 15, 1958 in Bismarck, ND and raised in Fargo. He overcame many of the challenges of Downs Syndrome and lived a full, independent, happy life. He worked at Developmental Work Activity Center until his retirement. Perry loved music, dancing, laughing, being with his family, having fun with friends and cut a mean Elvis impression. He touched the lives of many people with his smile and zest for life all the way to the end. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Edna Marthaller. He is survived by his devoted brother, Brent Marthaller, and loving sisters, Brenda Sorrels and Carla Friedman, his beloved niece, Jessica Heilman, nephews, Cody Marthaller and Alex Friedman, as well as a great niece and nephew. He will forever be remembered by countless other friends and caregivers at Fraser Ltd. who were blessed to know him. Perry will be buried alongside his parents at North Dakota Veterans' Cemetery in Bismarck, ND.
