Otto K. Lynch, 82, died at 3:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan 12, 2000, following an extended illness at Warren Manor, where he had been a resident for the past five years.
He was born Jan 9, 1918 in New Castle, a son of the late Ernest and Elizabeth Miller Lynch. A Warren resident most of his life, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Guam as a sergeant. Mr. Lynch was employed as a supervisor with the former Pennsylvania Furnace and Iron Work for about 30 years before his retirement in 1980. He was a former member of the Warren VFW.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death on Aug 3, 1986, by his wife, Margaret C. Kemmer Lynch, whom he married in Warren in 1940.
Mr. Lynch is survived by two daughters, Mr. John (Charlene) Sirianni, Russell, and Mrs. Charles (Paula) Gates, Scandia; a sister, Lucille Dudoic, New Castle; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Friday at the Doneld E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. for one hour prior to an 11 a.m. funeral and committal service with the Rev. Marcus Briggs, Warren General Hospital chaplain, officiating. Interment will follow at Mausoleum of the Resurrection in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
