He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; daughters, Marcia Schmierer and Marlys Stafford; sons, Dennis and Larry Schmierer; brother Robert Schmierer; sisters, Irene, Betty Lou and Diana; two grandsons and two great-granddaughters. Milton attended California Baptist College in Whittier, CA and then Golden Gate Seminary in Mill Valley. In January 1959 He became the pastor of his first church in San Francisco. Milton pastored several churches and also worked as a machinist. Services were held at Cornelia Ave. Southern Baptist Church, 2405 N. Cornelia Ave., Fresno, CA.
