She was born in Monroe County, Ohio, May 30, 1915, a daughter of the late Herman and Freda Reich Landefeld. She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Lewisville, Ohio. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law; Rhonda and Tom Piatt, Woodsfield; two brothers, Lester Landefeld and Harold Landefeld, both of Woodsfield; two grandsons, Kyle and Korey Piatt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Christman, March 1981; a brother, Walter Landefeld; a sister, Marie Riser and two infant sisters. Friends were received March 29 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services were held March 30, with the Reverend Marcia Werntz officiating.
