Birth: Sep. 17, 1920 Indiana, USA Death: Dec. 10, 1992 Muncie Delaware County Indiana, USA Marilyne M. Hirschinger, 72, Muncie, died Thursday in Ball Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Milan and as a child moved to Indianapolis, where she graduated from Manual High School. She spent her early years in Indianapolis and came to Muncie in 1940. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Lawrence (Larry) Hirschinger, two daughters, Sherry Williams (husband: Michael), Menasha, Wis., and Carole Hopper Fishers, a son, Chuck Hirschinger (wife: Shelly), Indianapolis and six grandchildren, Toby and Kate Williams, Larry Jordan, Carrie Frey and Whitney and Tyler Hirschinger. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling at Meeks Mortuary will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday. A scripture service will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday in the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Indiana Affiliate, Region 6, 1901 W. Royale Drive, Muncie 47304-2265.
