Marguerite ?Peggy? Bertha Pierson Gibson, 88, formerly of 110 Sherwood Drive, Williamstown, WV, died at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2008, at Harmar Place in Marietta. She was born on December 1, 1920 in the family home in Proctor, WV to Frank and Christina Singer Estep. Peggy was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Catholic Women?s Club, and the Williamstown Women?s Club. She married Burton Summers ?Si? Pierson in October of 1943, he died in August of 1969. She later married Don L. Gibson, who died in October of 2003. She is survived by her son, William Pierson (Karen) of Marietta; two grandchildren, Kristin Holbert (Bradley) of Williamstown and Matthew Pierson (Erin) of Marietta; six grandchildren, Levi, Hannah, Sarah Grace, and Ethan Holbert, Mattie Paige, and Kate Elizabeth Pierson; her step children and their families from her marriage to Don; and three sisters, Lavidona Bauer of Wheeling, WV, Leona Pietro of Rayland, Ohio, and Kathleen Louis of Canton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; two sisters, Elizabeth Howell and Bernadette Vermillion; and two brothers, Sylvester and Lawrence Estep. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Msgr. John Michael Campbell celebrating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown. Donations may be made to Hervida 4H Camp, OSU Extension, 202 Davis Ave., Marietta, Ohio 45750 or to the City of Williamstown Pool Fund, W.
