Birth: Dec. 27, 1926 Alfred Allegany County New York, USA Death: Feb. 6, 2004 Fort Myers Lee County Florida, USA FORT MYERS Mahlon C Rasmusson passed away February 6, 2004.Born December 27,1926,the son of William and Josephine Rasmusson. He graduated from Cuba Central School in 1945 an entered the army. Following service he attended St. Bonaventure University and graduated from the University of Rochester. He was employed by General Electric Corp in Illinois, Puerto Rico, Belgium and finished his 37 years as manager of the Foreign Tax Department in Schenectady. He retired in 1987 and moved his family to Fort Myers, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Marzella (Nafziger), a daughter Marla Mason, 2 granddaughters, a son Michael Rasmusson. He was an avid golfer, a member of the American Legion, the First Baptist Church of Schenectady and the Masons. He was preceeded in death by his parents and 3 brothers Rolland, Vincent and Wayne. The burial was in Ft Myers Memorial Gardens. Officiating was Rev. Glen Stoddard, former pastor of the Schenectady First Baptist Church.
