She was born Lorine Hauck Aug. 4, 1926, in Hosmer, S.D.,where she was raised and attended school.Mrs. Neuharth worked for Farmers State Bank in Hosmer, SD from 1944 to 1947.She married Raymond E. Neuharth on Dec. 6, 1945, at Hosmer Reformed Churchin South Dakota. While her husband served in the military she lived withher parents. The couple lived in Eureka, SD and Leola, SD.After her husband's death, she worked in the abstract business and was anagent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Co. of Minneapolis andDakota Homestead Title Ins. Co. of Sioux Falls SD. She retired in 1996 andmoved to Aberdeen, SD.Although she didn't live in Lodi, CA she has many first cousins from Lodiand knows approximately 200 people in the community.She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.She is survived by her children, Dorothy Ketterling of Ohio, Ruth Kessel ofLodi, Stuart Neuharth of South Dakota, Dwight Neuharth of South Dakota,Katherine Hopf of South Dakota, Clark Neuharth of Illinois; and 10grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1973; son, Charles;daughter Amy and brothers William and Emanuel Hauck.A funeral was held April 22 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Aberdeen.Burial was at Green Mound Cemetery in Leola, SD.Prepared by Yvonne McCarty [S558] South Dakota Marriages, 1905-1949.
