Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery Ivanhoe, Minnesota, United States Lilas Fleahman, age 85, of Ivanhoe, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Divine Providence Nursing Home in Ivanhoe. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am on Friday, October 17th at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ivanhoe with Father Ron Huberty as the Celebrant. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 on Friday at the church. Burial will be in Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Ivanhoe. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Divine Providence Nursing Home. Lilas Inez Lange was born May 14, 1929 in Ivanhoe, the daughter of Peter Sr. & Adeline (Nelson) Lange. She was baptized, confirmed and received her First Communion at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. After receiving her education, she became a teacher for the country school in Ash Lake Township. Lilas married Harlan Fleahman and to this union five children were born. She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, where she was active in many activities in her younger years. Lilas enjoyed dancing, cooking, hunting, waterskiing, being outdoors and was an excellent shot with a .22 rifle. Lilas is survived by her five children, Brad (Beth) of Bemidji, MN, Marcus of Ivanhoe, Kirk of Clearwater, MN, Carla (Joe) Stephanie of Paynesville, MN and Brock (Nancy) of Clarksville, TN; eight grandchildren, Chad, Chase, Caitlyn, Ashley, Alissa, Colton, Kirk & Kassidi; three great grandchildren; sister, Carol Mae Topinka of Bothell, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Gayle, Vivian, Peter, Diane, Dennis & Owen. Blessed be her memory.
