She died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at Good Counsel Convent in Mankato, Minn. Sister M. Madeleva was born Jan. 1, 1921, in Dickinson, N.D., to John M. and Eleanor Gress Krank. For more than 40 years she taught in elementary schools, including the New England and Dickinson, N.D., areas. She is survived by her brother, James Krank of Otis Orchards, Wash.; and two sisters, Cecelia Jirges of Billings and Rita Lovin of Bismark, N.D.
