  [S927] Obituary. Lawrence Tornes' obituary appeared in the Zanesville (OH) Signal on November 24, 1926 LAWRENCE TORNES TAKEN BY DEATH AT LOWELL, OHIO Lowell, O., Nov. 24, -- Lawrence C. Tornes aged 48 years, farmer near Lowell, died at his home on Sunday. Complication pneumonia hastened his death. Mr. Tornes was the son of the late Christian and Cathryn Tornes. He was born on August 1, 1878 and a member of St. John's Catholic church at Church- town. Surviving him are his widow, three sons, and a daughter, Walter Tornes, Ralph Tornes, Norbert Tornes at home and Mrs. Albert Huck of Lowell, R. D. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Churchtown, with interment in church cemetery.
