Katherine I. "Kathy" Weckbacher, 62, of 31899 Long Run Road, Sycamore Valley, Ohio died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at her home.
She was born at Marietta, Ohio on August 11, 1944 a daughter of Ralph Lindamood who survives of Massillon, Ohio and the late Pearl Ayers Lindamood.
She was a homemaker and a member of Creighton Ridge Church of Christ near Sycamore Valley, Ohio where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She was also former 4-H advisor and also enjoyed cooking for the family and entertaining her friends.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Dean E. Weckbacher whom she married on August 21, 1965; two daughters: Kim (Fred) Ramon of Zion Springs, Utah and Robin (Richard) Markey of Lower Salem, Ohio; two sons: Kevin (Ida) Weckbacher of Woodsfield, Ohio and Nathan (Jennifer) Weckbacher of Graysville, Ohio; one brother: Donald (Paula) Lindamood of Sanford, Florida; her stepmother: Marjorie Lindamood of Massillon, Ohio; eight grandchildren: Casey Phillips, Shawna Phillips, Brandon Markey, Caitlyn Markey, Latosha Weckbacher, Nicholas Weckbacher, Remington Weckbacher and Riley Weckbacher.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by one infant brother, Ralph Ronnie Lindamood, Jr.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 with Ronald Rossiter officiating. Burial will follow in the Creighton Ridge Cemetery, near Sycamore Valley, Ohio.
