She was born March 29, 1888 and was a lifelong resident of the Richland community. She was a member of the Richland United Brethren Church, the Richland Flower Club and Royal Neighbors of America at Richland. She was married to Charles Gerisch in 1909. He died in 1966. Survivors include 2 sons, Edwin Gerisch, Overbrook, and Norman Gerisch, Berryton; a daughter, Mrs. Loretta Martin, Basehor; 3 brothers, Jay Sheetz and August Sheetz, both of Topeka, and Henry Sheetz, Yuciapa, Calif.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Anna Bernard, Lawrence, and Mrs. Clara McDowell, Topeka. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Richland.
