John Tilden Latta below) Rev. J. T. Latta,of Granville, who was born near Calais, died Sunday, March 19th [1950], at his home following a lingering illness. Rev. Latta was a former Baptist missionary to Burma, India. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock in the Granville Baptist Church. Interment was in a Granville cemetery. Rev. J. T. Latta (2nd obituary) Source: Cambridge [Ohio] Jeffersonian, 30 Mar 1950 W.G. Udell, Cambridge R. D. 6, received word of the death of Rev. J. T. Latta, of Granville, who died Sunday at his home in Granville, following a lingering illness. Rev. Latta was a former Baptist missionary to Burma. He was well known in Cambridge. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Granville Baptist church. Burial will be in a Granville cemetery.
