He was a member of Northview Christian Church, Danville, Ind., and the Elks Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Kate Patch. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, nee Sloan, Patch; a sister, Pat Long; his children, Howard, Joe (Patti) Patch, Pat Sanford, Dan, Scott (Donna) Patch and Paul (Shayna) Patch; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Diabetic Youth Foundation, 502 Apple Orchard Estates, Danville, Ind., 46122 or may be received at the funeral home.
