MARSHALLVILLE -- Isabel Virginia Goody, 82, of Akron Road, Marshallville, died early Friday morning, Jan. 1, 2010, at Aultman Hospital in Canton following a period of declining health.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at East Chippewa Church of the Brethren, 7207 Chippewa Road, Orrville, with pastors Delbert Kettering and Leslie Lake officiating. Burial will be in Rittman Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston and one hour prior to services at the church.

Isabel was born March 31, 1927, in Woodsfield, daughter of the late John and Clara (Miller) Reischman. She married John Jones in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1966.
On Jan. 16, 1971, she married Charles Goody who survives. She had worked at International Paper in Wooster and retired from Rubbermaid, Inc., and was a member of East Chippewa Church of the Brethren.
She had made her home on Akron Road for the past 50 years and for the past 22 years had wintered in Altoona, Fla.
Isabel loved to entertain people and make them laugh. She had won several trophies over the years for her hog calling and in the Tall Tales Contest at the Pumpkin Festival in Barnesville.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Charles; her children, Betty (John) Lowe of Apple Creek, Jeffrey (Sandy) Jones of Wooster, Jackie (Joel) Lance of Wooster, Vivian (Doug) Potts of Norton, Larry Goody of Orrville and Tom Goody of Sterling; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and two sisters, Viola (Hugh) McLaughlin of Dodge City, Kans., and Vivian (Virgil) Kahrig of Orrville.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Ewers and Anna Marie Clift.
