Stewart, 82, of Mehaffey Ct., died at 4 a.m. today (Aug. 26, 1976) at her home. She was born Jan. 24, 1894 in Monroe County, the daughter of the late Andrew and Sarah Miller* Schaub, and was a member of First Methodist Church; United Methodist Women; Class 7 of the church; Senior Citizens; and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was married on Aug. 12, 1919 to Pearl C. Stewart who died Oct. 12, 1969. Mrs. Stewart leaves one son, Donald D. Stewart, Cambridge; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. One brother and three sisters are deceased. Friends may call at Thorn Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville. *Submitter?s Note: Other sources give her mother?s maiden name as GROVES.
