  [S927] Obituary. Howard O. Christman, 100, of, Lewisville, Ohio died, August 1, 2007 He was born at Calais, Ohio on August 23, 1906 a son of the late John and Clara Ackerman Christman. He was a 1926 graduate of the former Batesville High School, Batesville, Ohio; a retired farmer and carpenter and a member of the former Seneca Valley Church of Christ, Calais, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Stephen Christman on October 9, 1976; three brothers, Gilbert, Lee and Herbert Christman; an infant brother, Lester Christman; one sister, Esta Burkhart; a grandson, Larry Stephen Christman. Surviving are one daughter: Judy (Donald) Kilburn of Lewisville, Ohio; two sons: Larry (Barbara) Christman of Lewisville, Ohio, Neil Christman and his fiance Jana Phillips of Lewisville, Ohio; three sisters: Helen Starr of Gahanna, Ohio, Mary Hayes of Quaker City, Ohio and Cleo Carpenter of Lewisville, Ohio; three sisters-in-law: Eleanor Christman of Summerfield, Ohio, Margaret Christman of Quaker City, Ohio and Lois Stephen of Malaga, Ohio; nine grandchildren: Kim (Bonnie) Kilburn, Stephen Kilburn, Amber (Tom) Ramage, Blake (Sandy) Kilburn, Aaron (Stacey) Kilburn, Troy (Sue) Christman, Tracey (Bud) Haney, Tonya (Brad) Balch and Travis (Angie) Christman; 21 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
