Hazel THIELBAR Dies at age 34, Rites Tuesday
Miss Hazel Louella Thielbar, 34, 1329 N. Capitol street, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday at Illinois Research hospital, Chicago, after an illness of a year.
Miss Thielbar was born Jan. 26, 1913, in Elm Grove township, Tazewell county, a daughter of George W. and Elizabeth DULLY THIELBAR. Prior to her illness, she worked at the Central Book and Toy store for a year. When she became ill, she first went to Oak Knoll sanitarium, Mackinaw, and then to the hospital at Chicago, where she succumbed.
The young woman's father preceded her in death, and she is survived by her mother and two brothers, Howard R. Thielbar, Washburn, and George M. Thielbar, Pekin.
At 4:30 p.m. today the body is to be taken from the Preston Funeral home to the residence at 1329 N. Capitol street, where friends may call.
After prayer at the home Tuesday at 11 a.m., the body will be taken to the St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church to lie in state until the services at 2:30 p.m. at the church. Dr. Arno A. Zimmerman will officiate and burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
