Rossner of McMinnville will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, McMinnville. The Rev. Karen Renner of the First Presbyterian Church, McMinnville, will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, McMinnville. Mr. Rossner died of natural causes Dec. 24, 2001, in Willamette Valley Medical Center, McMinnville. He was 55. He was born Jan. 26, 1946, in McMinnville, the son of Theodore and Frances Duerst Rossner. He was raised and educated in McMinnville, graduating from McMinnville High School. He started farming with his father, then continued to farm with his brother. He and Judy Scheirman were married Sept. 9, 1967, in McMinnville. Mr. Rossner was an active member of Ducks Unlimited, traveling throughout the state for the organization's fundraisers and auctions. He belonged to the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks 1283, McMinnville, and Yamhill County Farm Bureau. He was chairman of Young Farmers and Ranchers and served on the industrial technology advisory board of McMinnville High School. He recently was awarded the American Farmer Degree by the National FFA Association. He was an avid hunter, especially for ducks. He loved attending auctions and also enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage and wood carving. Survivors include his wife; a son, Leonard Rossner of McMinnville; a daughter, Lynn Rossner of McMinnville; his mother, of McMinnville; and a brother, John Rossner of McMinnville.
