Felix H. Dimmerling, age 88, of 2308 Reno Dr. NE
Louisville passed away at St. Joseph Hospice Wednesday
afternoon [9 Dec 1981] following an extended illness. Born
in Fulda, O., July 12 1893, he was the last surviving member
of the August and Barbara Schott Dimmerling family. He had
lived in Stark County for 65 years. A member of St. Louis
Catholic Church, he was a retired farmer and worked for the
Old Superior Sheet Steel Co. and the Old King Cole Co., both
of Louisville.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Lee (Vera)
Hartman, Mrs. Venola Meek, Mrs. Gene (Velma) McKimm,
Mrs. Sam (Virginia) Mustacchio and Mr. Paul (Vivian) Metzger,
all of Louisville; two sons, Virgil Dimmerling of Minerva and
Vincent Dimmerling of Salem, Mo. He was preceded in death
by his wife Millie in 1962 and two grandchildren. There are 12
grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grand-
children.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at 12
noon in St. Louis Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home Friday.
