Mrs. Eva Matilda Hoff, 85, of Lewisville, died Thursday morning, March 29, at three o'clock in Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville.
She was born June 21, 1893, in Monroe County, a daughter of the late George and Mary Young Smith.
Mrs. Hoff was a member of the Lewisville United Methodist Church. Her husband, George Hoff, preceded here in death April 6, 1956.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Clara) Matz of Lewisville; one grandson; four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; three sisters. Mrs. Mary Schneider of Merrill, Wis.; Mrs. Freda Smith of Dalton and Mrs. Lyria Kestner of Massillon, and four brothers; Henry Smith of Lewisville; Charles Smith and Elmer Smith, of Dalton and Fred Smith of Summerfield.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Bauer and Turner Funeral Home. Woodsfield, with Rev. Randy Cetorelli officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville.
