  [S927] Obituary. Elsie (Ottemann) Mandery Knippelmeyer, 94, of Tecumseh, died January 27, 2012 at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh. She was born to Edwin and Mary (Gobber) Ottemann on December 23, 1917. Survivors: sons, Richard Mandery of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Willis (Sondra) Mandery of Arizona and Larry (Helen) Mandery of Falls City; seven grandchildren, Connie, Kenny, Marc, Susie, Darcy, Sonya and Cindy; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; brother, Arnold (Laura) Ottemann of Johnson; sister, Iona (Wilber) Koehler of Humboldt; sister-in-law, Lila Ottemann of Elk Creek; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry Mandery and Julius Knippelmeyer. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Tecumseh. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, with family greeting from 5 - 7 p.m., Wherry Mortuary, Tecumseh; and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Tecumseh Cemetery. Memorials to the family's choice.
