  Per Lydia Fae Fyock: My mother was born before Nellie married Mose. I called him Granddad and he treated us as his grandchildren. I don't know who knows that he is not my blood grandfather. I understand that he adopted my mother. I don't know when and I think it is in Clearfield court house. I never put it down, as some of my mom's siblings never knew she was not his child until he died. I don't know much of what they did or didn't think about it as I was not in the room when his will was read. Some relativies do not know this. I do not know who mom's real father was. Aunt pearl told me one time for some reason, but I didn't make a big deal of it and write it down and now I don't remember. My mother told me that the fellow paid Nellie's father some money and that was it. That is the way it was done sometimes in those days.
