  [S927] Obituary. # Marguerite Rourke Obituary # Oct 1977 , Bremerton, Kitsap County, WA, USA # Edna Marguerite Rourke Memorial Services will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Chapel for Marge (Mrs. K. Dan) Rourke, 54, of Bremerton. She died of heart failure Wednesday at Naval Regional Medical Center of Bremerton. She was born Edna Marguerite Stoffel on June 23, 1923, in Bremerton. She was reared and educated here and was a graduate of Bremerton High School. A veteran of World War II, she served with the Women?s Air Force from 194401946. On May 11, 1945, she married Kenneth Dan Rourke at the Rapid City Army Air Base in South Dakota. The couple returned to Bremerton after Rourke?s retirement from the Air Force in 1964. Mrs Rourke was a member of the Skipperettes of the Bremerton Yacht Club and was working as a supervisor at the telephone office at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard at the time of her death. Surviving are her husband, K. Dan Rourke; two daughters, Sharon (Mrs. Donald) Sherwood and Diane (Mrs Dave) Susse, and a son, Steve, all of Bremerton; two brothers, Vaughn G Stoffel and Gerald Stoffel, and a sister, Kathleen Augustyn, all of Bremerton; and four grandchildren.
