The body of Corvin L. Tolbert arrived in the city Tuesday morning from Rochester, Minn., where he died. The deceased was well know here, having spent most of his life in Oskaloosa. He was the son of Mrs. Ed Parks. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 1, at 2:30, from the St. James Episcopal church. Interment in Forest Cemetery. He was born in Iowa, November 21, 1873 and at the time of death was 36 years, 7 months, and 9 days of age. He died in the hospital at Rochester, Minn.,from an affliction of general paresis. The deceased was well known at Oskaloosa and was at one time an employee of the Globe. For a number of years he was employed as window trimmer and clerk in the Abraham dry goods store.
