  Catherine M. Doerr Catherine Marie Doerr, 89, of Colonial Beach, Va., formerly of Cleburne, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, after a long illness, succumbing to the ravages of Alzheimer's disease. She was born March 27, 1920. She was the widow of Clement M. Doerr and will be dearly missed. She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Sally Doerr of Westfield, N.J., Jim and Bucky Doerr of Colonial Beach, Va., Fred and Elva Doerr of Germantown, Md., and Robert and Sharon Doerr of Lake Jackson, Texas. She is also survived by two siblings, Dorothy Fulfer of Burleson, Texas, and Hugh Higgins of Cleburne, Texas. She was preceded in death by an infant son, David Lawrence Doerr, and sister, Betty Jones. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Father Sergio Rizo will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Riverside Tappahannock Hospice, 840-493-6130.
