Birth: Mar. 27, 1940 Death: Jul. 21, 2006 Copied from Obituary: Zerr, Cecilia Published: 2006-07-24 Regina, SK ZERR_ On Friday, July 21, 2006 CECILIA CANDA ZERR late of Regina, SK passed away at the age of 66 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ken; parents Jacob and Katherine Knoll; brothers John and Martin; sister Margaret; brothers-in-law John and Alphonse; sisters-in-law Dorothy and Florence and father-in-law Frank Zerr. Cecilia is survived by her children Tim (Ann) Zerr and children Corey and Michelle, Garry (Shelley) Zerr and children Derrick and Sheena, Kathy (Jeff) Mader and children Kyle and Kristina, Allan (Shari) Zerr and children Tiffany and Cody; 3 sisters Rose (Joe) Delsnyder, Helen Fuchs and Marceline Seiferling; brother-in-law John (Rose) Nishnick; mother-in-law Amelia Zerr and her family and numerous nieces and nephews. Cecilia was born on March 27, 1940 at Vibank to Jacob and Katherine Knoll. She married Ken Zerr in 1959 and moved to Regina where they started a family. Cecilia not only cared for her children, but provided care for many others including her parents for several years. In 1975 Cecilia and Ken moved with their family to a lake front home on Echo Lake then later moved into Fort Qu'Appelle. She enjoyed working in retail, first at MacLeods and then approximately 13 years at Pharmasave. In 1997 Cecilia retired and moved to Regina to be closer to her children and grandchildren who meant the world to her. She was an active member in the parishes that she belonged to during her lifetime. A special thanks to Caroline Marcotte and everybody at Ashton Manor and Unit 3D at the Pasqua Hospital. Prayers will be held on Monday, July 24, 2006 at 7:30 PM in the Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at 10:30 AM in Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 5020 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK with Rev. Eugene Schaffer, celebrant.
