He was born March 11, 1927, in Bloomington, Ill., to Ernest Winfield Fowler and Nina May Stuckey. He moved to Loveland in the 1950s from Bloomington. He married Estella Rueb in 1979 in Loveland. Mr. Fowler was a refrigeration engineer for Old Timer Meats and later drove a truck delivering farm equipment. He was a member of the Loveland Seventh-day Adventist Church. He loved farming and collected model tractors. He is survived by his wife, Estella Fowler of Loveland; stepson Duane Albrecht and wife Laura of Greeley; stepdaughters Julia Anne Albrecht and husband Andy of Loma Linda, Calif., Patricia Heib and husband Bruce of Loveland, and Nancy L. Rosales and husband Roy of Houston, Texas; three brothers; four sisters; 11 step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Fowler. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Loveland Burial Park, Pastor Rodney Scherencel officiating.
