He survives.Also surviving are two children, Barry (Melody) Wirtz, Bloomington, and Nancy (Dan) Simmons, Stanford; two sisters, Virgina Rodgers, Argyle, Texas, and Norma (Larry) Phillips, Crest Hill; five grandchildren, Josh and Ben Wirtz and Nathan, Jarad and Bryant Simmons; three stepgrandchildren, Katie and Ryan English and Kandi Simmons; and three great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenneth Clear.She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Normal. Ardis enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was a loving wife, mother grandmother and sister.
