Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 15, at First Presbyterian Church in Huron with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 14 at the Welter Funeral Home with family present from 6-8 p.m; or Thursday morning one hour prior to the service at the church. Ardena B. Ochsner, the daughter of Jacob and Beada (Ulmer) Ochsner, was born on October 19, 1919, in rural Alpena, SD, and attended country school in the area. Ardena married Raymond Neuharth on October 6, 1940, at the Reformed Church in Alpena. They farmed near Alpena for 56 years. On September 1, 2001, the couple moved to Huron. Ardena was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Huron. Grateful for having shared in her life are her son, Larry (Keitha) Neuharth of Alpena, SD; daughter, Darla (Jim) Wasson of Armour, SD; four grandchildren, Kristen (Dan) Jurgens, Jim (Summer) Wasson, Rob (Annie) Wasson, and Ryan Wasson; three great-grandchildren, Maddie and Mason Jurgens, and Miles Wasson; and sister, Hilda Baum of Huron. Ardena was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond in 2005; brother, Raymond Ochsner; sister, Tillie ( Dave) Morris; and brother-in-law, Clarence Baum. The family asks that memorials be made in Ardena?s name to the First Presbyterian Church of Huron.
