  BIOGRAPHY: Four months before Amos was born, his father drowned in the Allegheny River, rafting logs near Parker Pa. The mother was left with a 2 year old daughter, Caroline and a 1 year old daughter Mary. Mary Died at 18. The mother died shortly after the father died. Amos was raised by an English family. The girls by a family named Crawford in St. Petersburg and Foxburg. Viock, age 43, resident of Willard, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2006 at her home. She was born on June 6, 1963 in Willard, Ohio to Hayden D. and Sarah (Carney) Caris-Miller and had been a resident of the Willard/Norwalk area all of her life. She was employed as the crew manager at the McDonald's Restuarant in Willard and was a member of the Guinea Corner Church of God. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She enjoyed watching Nascar Racing and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She is survived by her husband, Lyle E. Viock Sr. of Willard; her daughter, Esther Viock of Willard; her son, Patrick Viock of Willard; twin sister, Pat Campbell of Willard; three sisters, Marilyn Varo of Lexington, KY, Linda VanAsscher of Alpine, CA, and Josephine Fidler of Shelby, OH; two brothers John Caris of Florida and Douglas Caris of Mansfield, OH; two step sisters; a step brother; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by a son, Lyle Viock Jr.; her parents, Sarah E. Caris- Miller and Hayden Caris; her step father, Robert W. Miller; her paternal and maternal grandparents. Friends may call at the Guinea Corner Church on Friday, September 1, 2006 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM where the funeral will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Velman Sexton officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard. Memorial expressions may be made to family and left in care of the Secor Funeral Home in Willard.
