Mattes.Miss Hill is the charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Beda Hill, Fulda community. She is a graduate of the Caldwell High School but for the past several months has been working in Canton. She is a member of the St. Mary's Catholic church.The prospective groom is the son of Mrs. Alex Singer, Caldwell R.F.D. 4, Fulda community. He is a graduate of the Middleburg High School and well known to a large host of friends. He is assisting in the care of the Singer farm.Immediately after the ceremony, a wedding dinner well be given at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hill.That evening the couple will be further honored with a dance in Cecelian Hall, Carlisle.   [S927] Obituary. Alma Ida Singer, age 83, of Caldwell, died Saturday, December 11, 1999 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Singer who died, January 30, 1984 and one grandson, Steven Arnold. Surviving are three daughters, Muriel R. Lang of Pataskala, Mary, Arnold of North Canton and Janet Harr of Mogadore; three sons, James P., Thomas V. and Daniel J. Singer of Caldwell; five sisters, Marie Pauline Dimmerling of Carlisle, Doloris Hohman of North Canton, Rita Kuhn of Louisville and Mildred Henderson of Caldwell; two brother, Joe and Herman Hill of Columbus; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell with Fr. Dale Tornes as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Fulda.
