Alberta A. Rabenort of Nashville, IL, departed this life at Friendship Manor Healthcare Center in Nashville, on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 5:50 PM. She had attained the age of 99 years and 10 days.
Mrs. Rabenort was born on November 28, 1914 in Washington County, IL the daughter of Henry and Louise (Schuetz) Wulf. She was united in marriage to John Engelman, Jr. on January 3, 1930 and he preceded her in death. She later married Wilbert “Web” Rabenort on November 6, 1962 and he preceded her in death on October 1, 1984.
Alberta was a homemaker and a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville where she was involved with the Dorcus Circle. Alberta loved flowers.
Left to mourn her passing is her 5 children, Pearl Mueller of Mascoutah, IL, Violet Sisney and her husband Jim of Nashville, Fern Jernigen and her husband Dewey of Spring, TX, Marilyn Bright and her husband Ron of Columbus, OH and Dennis Engelman of Nashville; two step daughters, Loretta Soracco of California and Dorothy Swent of Spokan, WA; two daughters-in-law, Helen Engelman of Kingston, OH and Barbara Engelman of Centerville, TN; step daughter in law, Louis Rabenort of Okawville; over 125 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
*She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three sons, Lawrence, Melvin and Robert Engelman; step son Gene “Bud Rabenort; two grandsons, Brian Jernigen and Joey Warren; a daughter-in-law, Marie Engelman, two sons-in-law, Martin Mueller and Clyde Hatfield; two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville, IL on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 12 PM with Rev. Jean Carmean officiating and with the interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Should friends desire memorials can be made to the St. Paul Cemetery or the Irvington Food Pantry and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
