  [S927] Obituary. M. Eileen Smithberger, 78, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born April 10, 1928 in Malaga, Ohio, a daughter of the late Michael P. Smithberger and Clara J. Burkhart Smithberger. Eileen was retired from the former Ohio Bell Telephone Co., a member of Assumption Catholic Church and the Assumption Catholic Womens Club of Barnesville, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters: Laura Armbruster, Leona and Hilda Smithberger, Helen V. Bishop, and Alberta Huth; brothers: Vernon, Clarence, Harry, Robert and Paul Smithberger. Surviving are a sister, Ruth Smithberger of Barnesville; a sister-in-law, Viola Smithberger, of Oak Harbor, Ohio. Friends will be received Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m., at Kelly- Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 702 East Main St., Barnesville, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Assumption Catholic Church, Barnesville, Ohio, with Father Virgil Reischman officiating. Burial in Assumption Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.
