  Notes	Wedding announcement from The Louisville Herald, pg 1, 14 Oct 1920. The brides, Hilda Smithberger and Margaret Zwick, were first cousins. One of the pretty events of the season was the double wedding which was performedby Rev. N. P. Weckel at St. Louis Catholic church, Tuesday morning at 8:30 o?clock.The contracting parties were Miss Hilda Smithberger and Clarence Pillot and Miss MargaretZwick and Marvin Gulling. Mrs. And Mrs. Pillot were attended by Miss Hilda Pillot andAlex Smithberger, as sister and a brother of the bride and groom, respectively, and Mr. andMrs. Gulling also had as their attendants a sister and a brother, Miss Florence Zwick andVincent Gulling.The brides wore handsome gowns of white satin and veils with pearl beads. They carriedbouquets of white roses. Their attendants wore gowns of changeable yellow tafetta andcarried bouquets of yellow roses. The ringbearer, little Miss Mary Thurin, carried the ringsin a basket of white dallias. She was very pretty an a white crepe de Chine gown. Manyfriends of the young people were in attendance at the services.Mrs. Pillot came to Louisville from Monroe county, Ohio about four years ago. Mrs.Gulling is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Zwick. They made their home with theirgrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marx Zwick. Both are handsome young ladies, with amiabledispositions. Mr. Pillot is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. William Pillot and Mr. Gullingis a son of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Gulling of Harrisburg. Both are estimable, industrious youngmen.After the ceremony, a breakfast was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marx Zwick,only a few guests being present. They were given many beautiful gifts and their friendsextend congratulations. They are spending a week in visiting with friends and upon theirreturn Mr. and Mrs. Pillot will reside with Mr. Pillot?s parents, and Mr. and Mrs. Gullingwill locate in Akron.

(Bud) Pillot, age 73 of 619 Edwards St., Louisville passed away at Molly Stark Hospital Sunday evening following an extended illness.Born in Louisville, April 27, 1900 to the late William and Elizabeth Allarding Pillot, he lived in this area all his life. A retired carpenter, he had worked for a time for the old Su-perior Sheet Steel Co. at Louisville. He was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church, Louisville, F.O.E. Aerie 2374 and served as a Louisville Volunteer Fireman for 50 years.Survivors include his wife, Hilda Pillot of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Marjorie) Kilkenny, Mrs. Harold (Eileen) Begue, and Mrs. Joseph (Dolores) Samblanet all of Louisville; one son, Larry Pillot of Solon; one sister, Mrs. Hilda Curry of Louisville; one brother, Garland Pillot of Youngs-town; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial was held was held Wed-nesday at 10 AM in the St. Louis Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. F.O.E services were held Tuesday evening at 6:45 PM at the funeral home.
