Mildred Lydick Holt By: 10/18/2008 Mildred Lydick Holt, 87, died Thursday at Highland View Healthcare in Brockway.Born Jan. 21, 1921 in Luthersburg, she was the daughter of the late Grover Lydick and Mary Lines Lydick. She married James Cecil Holt in 1941; he survives.She was a graduate of Sandy High School class of 1939 and was employed at Maple Avenue Hospital for 20 years. She attended the Gospel Center in Reynoldsville. She lived in DuBois for many years, moved to Brockway, then returned to DuBois. She loved to travel and grow roses.She is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Denman of Sinton, Texas, Alberta Marsh of Waterford, and Beverly Nelson of Columbia, Ill., one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, James Michael, and a daughter, Barbara Feldman-Reitz and three brothers, Leland, William and Robert.q q qHOLT: Mildred Lydick, Highland View Healthcare, Brockway, died Oct. 16, 2008. A private service was held on Saturday. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois.
