Marilyn C. Zwick
Marilyn C. Zwick, age 75, of East Rochester, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, in the Great Trail Care Center in Minerva. She was born Oct. 11, 1937, in Louisville to Andrew "Pete" and Lillian (Rupple) Hupp. She was a homemaker and was a teacher's aide for the Minerva Local School District at West Elementary for 18 years. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Zwick, whom she married July 5, 1958; three sons, Thomas (Lena) Zwick of Clinton, Terry (Judie) Zwick of Minerva and Kevin (Marcia) of Randolph; son-in-law, Doug Myers of Canfield; sister, Shirley (Lynn) Dearth of Hartville; eight grandchildren; a great-grandson; and her longtime caregiver, Marie Walton of Minerva.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Colleen Myers, who died in 2011; and a granddaughter, Sarah Myers, who died in 2006.
Mass of the Christian burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, in St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva, with the Rev. Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.
