She was born August 20, 1918 in Lewisville, Ohio daughter of the late Clement and Josephine (Nau) Weisend.She was retired from the former Barnesville Manufacturing and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catholic Women's Club and was an avid quilter.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gallagher; three sons, Donald, Jack and Paul Gallagher; four brothers, Neil, Paul, Lyle, and Harold Weisend; sister, Hilda Zwick; granddaughter, Michelle Hayes.Surviving are a son, Phillip Gallagher of Quaker City; daughter, Ruth Ann Gallagher of Quaker City; sister, Mary (Ralph) Crites of Canton; daughter-in-law, Nancy Gallagher of Quaker City; two grandchildren, Natalie Ardman of Quaker City of Jeff Gallagher of New Orleans; six great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held Friday (April 13) at 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temperanceville. Burial follows in St. Mary's Cemetery.
