He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, brother and his wife of over 50 years, Dot. In his last final days, all Bob wished for was to embrace the love of his life in heaven. Now they are finally reunited. Bob was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 22,1931. He attended St. Ignatius High School and then graduated from John Carroll University in 1952. After working for a couple of companies, Bob landed a job with the C&P telephone company, now AT&T, and moved his young family to Richmond, VA. Literally, within 24 hours the young "rebel" Breiner clan became Southerners! Bob had many talents but his greatest attribute was his sincere, outgoing personality that made him a natural born salesman. His career with the phone company skyrocketed. Bob eventually became Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for AT&T. Although he worked so hard, he always had time for his family, He coached both his boys, Bob Jr. and Mike, in little league baseball and, after retirement, took his wife on countless cruises. He won numerous sales and marketing awards and was a devoted Catholic. It didn't matter if there were a blizzard in Cleveland or a hurricane in Florida, Bob and Dot NEVER missed Mass. He became very involved in the Knight's of Columbus and rose to the position of Fourth Degree and ultimately Grand Knight. Bob is survived by his two sons, Bob and Mike and their wonderful wives, Jo Anne and Tammy. He also leaves behind the grandchildren he adored: Andrew, Adam, Sydney and Garrett. The family appreciated the care and devotion of Pastor Gary and his special friend and caregiver, Bonita.
