  [S927] Obituary. In Memory of WALTER C ASPENLEITER July 8, 1931 - November 17, 2013 Obituary Aspenleiter, Walter C. Born to eternal life on Sunday, Nov. 17, at the age of 82. Devoted husband of Virginia, and loving father of Stephen (Hilary) Aspenleiter and Sharon (David) Zalewski. Proud grandfather of Ryan and Joshua Aspenleiter, and Lindsay and Douglas Zalewski. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter J. and Lillian C. Aspenleiter. A Korean War veteran, he served aboard the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, USS Hornet (CVA-12). He graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering, worked at A.O. Smith as an automotive parts designer until his retirement in 1993 after 43 years, and was an avid golfer and voracious reader of World War II, business, and historical nonfiction books. Visitation on Friday, Nov. 22, from 9:15 a.m. ? 10:30 a.m., at St. Anthony Catholic Church, N74 W13604 Appleton Avenue, Menomonee Falls, followed by a Mass of Christian burial. Interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Anthony Catholic Church (Menomonee Falls) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
