  [S927] Obituary. Ronald J. Hoover, age 63, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, April 25,2000, in Aultman Hospital. He was born in Louisville, January 27, 1937, to the late Leon and Marie (Schoeppner) Hoover. He was retired from American Steel in Alliance; an Army Veteran. He was of the Catholic Faith and was a member of the Louisville Eagles #2374. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Hoover. Survived by a special friend, Martha DeGreef; a step-son, Charles Hoover of Canton; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Ritaand James Metzger, Kate and Steve Teolis a l of North Canton, Patricia and Chris Strain, Monica Eschelman all of Canton, Joan Hoover of Louisville; three brothers and a sister-in-law, LaVerne Hoover of North Canton, Eugene and Mary Hoover of Louisville, Kenneth Hoover of Canal Fulton; two grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in the Stier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville with Rev. Msgr. Homer G. Oliver officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Newport Cemetery, Newport, Ohio
