She had been a homemaker. She was born June 21, 1904 to Peter and Amelia (Homier) Schortgen. She married Albert Shoudel in Waterloo on Sept 12, 1928. He died on April 29, 1985. Surviving are two sons, one brother, 11 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren. One son, Cleo, and three brothers preceded her in death. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Auburn. Services will be in Immaculate Conception Church at 11 am Saturday. Father Mel Herber will officiate. Burial will be in St Michael's Cemetery, Waterloo. Calling is in the Feller Funeral Home, Waterloo, from 7-9 pm tonight and at the church one hour prior to services. There will be a rosary service in the funeral home at 7 tonight.
