  [S927] Obituary. Notes for John A. Bishop: Obituary: John A. Bishop, a retired farmer, died Thursday in his home at 413 N. Mill St., in Louisville, after an illness of one year. He was 76. Born at Harriettsville, he had resided in Louisville 40 years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Bertha Bishop, one son, Francis Bishop of Louisville; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Schwallie of Canton, a brother, Leonard Bishop of Louisville; one sister, Mrs. Bary Becker of Harriettsville, and two grandchildren. A requiem high mass was sing in St. Louis Catholic Church Monday with Rev. Fr. Francis Palm officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. In 1920, John A. Bishop (45) owned a farm on Chapel Street Road in Nimishillin Twp., Stark Co ., Ohio. He lived there with his wife, Julie A. (40) and sons Roman H. (8) and Francis J. (5 ). Neither of the boys attended school. The adjacent farm in the census belonged to the family of Edward Snyder (38).
