  Notes	THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 1919WEDDING BELLSAn event of Thanksgiving day will be the marriage of Miss Josephine Zwick and Mr. Nicholas Ottle. The ceremony will be performed at St. Louis Catholic church by Rev. N. P. Weckel, the pastor, and the attendants will be Miss Esther Zwick and J. Ottle, a sister and a brother of the bride and groom, respectively. The bride will wear a blue velvet suit with a grey hat and her maid will also wear a suit. After the ceremony a breakfast will be served at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sebastian Zwick, who reside north-west of Louisville, and about one hundred guests will be present. Miss Josephine Zwick is a prepossessing, amiable young lady and her friends are many. Mr. Ottle's home is in Alliance where he is the proprietor of a grocery store. After the events of the day they will go to Alliance where they will make their home with Mr. Ottle's parents. They have received a number of beautiful gifts and their friends extend best wishes.

  [S927] Obituary. Elizabeth V. Gulling Elizabeth V. "Betty" Gulling, 87, of Alliance, passed peacefully on Friday, June 1, 2012, at Community Care Center in Alliance. Born Feb. 17, 1925, in Alliance, she lived in the Alliance area all of her life. She attended St. Joseph Parochial School and Alliance High School. She was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and formerly a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. At St. Ann's, she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and was involved in many church activities. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting, cooking, baking, shopping, but especially enjoyed her trips with her husband on their Gad-About Tours. Survivors include her husband, Harold W. Gulling, whom she married Feb. 11, 1956; her children, Melvin E. (Dorothy) Young Jr. of Alliance, Jerry A. (Carol) Young of Louisville, Debbie (Ben) Frustos of Alliance, Denise (Chuck) Biery of Damascus and Lisa (David) Roberts of Canal Fulton; 12 grandchildren, Mark and Mike Young, Jade Young, Brynn Bugara, Addie Peterson, Ally and Cory Frustos, Stephanie Muhleman, Justin Biery and Jenna McLaughlin, Taylor and Jessica Roberts; 17 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Haynes, Kathleen Krutel, Veronica Schillig and Bernice Tournoux; one brother, Bernard "Bud" Ottle; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents, Nicholas and Josephine (Zwick) Ottle; her stepmother, Carrie Ottle; a sister, Theresa VanCamp; and two brothers, Robert and Nick Ottle. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Regina Coeli Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Howard Ziemba as celebrant. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 885 Sawburg Ave., Alliance, OH 44601.
