Emma R. Altman
ALTMAN, Emma R. Richner, 83, formerly of G.C.&P. Road, Wheeling, W.Va., died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 in the Bishop Joseph H. Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling.
She was born June 24, 1921 in Woodsfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Frederick and Elsie Schultze Richner.
Mrs. Altman was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church, Wheeling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harlen W. Altman Sr. in 1987; two brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are a son, Harlen W. Altman Jr. of Moundsville; a daughter, Rosie DeSantis and her husband, Frank, of Bethlehem; two grandchildren, Stacie Dei and her husband, Todd, and Jeffrey Zan; and three sisters, Dora Beaver Cunningham and Lucy Dayton of Wheeling, and Charlotte Starkey of Cleveland, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2005 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2005. Entombment in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, Wheeling.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bishop Joseph H. Hodges Continuous Care Center, Activities Department, Medical Park, Wheeling, WV 26003.
