Obituary (from Betty Hartley): WEISEND, James G., 66, of Adams Lane Care Center, Zanesville, formerly of Lewisville, Ohio, died Friday, Oct. 4, 1996, at home. He was a former construction worker, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, near Lewisville, and an Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas and Marcella M. Nauer Weisend; a brother, Charles. Surviving are three brothers, Ashton of Zanesville, Robert of Lewisville and Norbert of Albuquerque, N.M.; six sisters, Emma Shelton of Picker­ington, Ohio, Mildred Carpenter of Lewisville, Elizabeth Ramsey of Zanesville, Catherine Alvis of Hous­ton,Texas, Rose Blackburn of Hous­ton, Texas, and Mary Ritterbeck of Akron, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Friends received from 9:30-10:30 a.m. today at Brubach­Watters Funeral Home, 202 Main St., Summerfield, Ohio.
