Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Fred, Merle, Clyde, Harry & Lewis; sisters, Alverta SUSKO, Ethel PENROD, and June DISHONG; and son-in-law, Joseph P. BARBER. Survived by wife, former Helen E. BLOWERS; daughters. Nancy J., married to Arnold LOCHER and Bonnie C. BARBER, both of Johnstown; grandchildren Tracey LOCHER, Becky CARSON and Eric LOCHER, and Carolyn BLASZCZYK, Patricia ASTARITA, and Joseph D. BARBER; and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Elva FYOCK and Hattie FYOCK, both of Johnstown. Member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, where he was a lifetime deacon and active in teaching Sunday school and other church activities. Retired from wheel plant of Bethlehem Steel Corp., where he was employed for 45 years. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Sunday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Service will be held at 1pm Monday at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, the Revs. Barron K. Deffenbaugh and Rodger Thomas. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery."
